# Search

Search finds pages and table records that contain the words you enter, and ranks them by relevance.

## Search in the browser

Open a wiki and type in the search field. Results include pages and records from the whole wiki.

## Search with an agent or the CLI

Agents search automatically when you ask them about something. To search with the CLI, name a wiki, or a page to search only the pages under it:

known acme wiki search "refund policy" general:
known acme wiki search renewal crm:customers
```

Record results are shown as `<page>/<key>`, for example `crm:customers/acme`.

## What search includes

| Included | Not included |

| Page paths, titles, and content | Log entries |
| The text and number fields of table rows | Earlier revisions of pages and rows |

Results contain every word you search for. Search doesn't support operators such as `OR` or exact phrases.
