# Members and teams

Members are the people in your organization. Teams are named groups of members that you can grant access to a wiki.

## Invite members

Admins can invite people from **Members**:

1. Enter one or more email addresses, separated by commas.
2. Select a role: **Member** or **Admin**.
3. Send the invitation.

Each person gets an email, and the invitation also appears in their organization menu. Pending invitations are listed in **Members**, where admins can withdraw them.

## Let people join with your email domain

Admins can verify your company's email domain in **Settings → Domains** by adding a DNS record. After the domain is verified, people who sign up with an email address at that domain are offered to join your organization.

You can't verify domains of public email providers, such as gmail.com.

## Set up single sign-on

On the Business plan, admins can require sign-in through Okta, Google Workspace, Microsoft Entra ID, or another SAML provider for a verified domain. See [Plans and limits](https://known.info/docs/plans).

## Change a role or remove a member

In **Members**, admins can change a member's role or remove them. A removed member loses access to the browser, the CLI, and their connected agents within a minute.

You can't change your own role or remove yourself. To leave, see [Organizations](https://known.info/docs/organizations).

## Teams

A team is a named group of members, such as `founders` or `finance`. When you grant a team access to a [restricted wiki](https://known.info/docs/access), everyone on the team gets access, and people you add to the team later get it too.

Teams are in **Members → Teams**.

| Who | Can |
