# Docs for agents

Every page in these docs is available as Markdown, so you can give it to an AI assistant or a coding agent.

## Markdown pages

To get a page as Markdown, add `.md` to its address:

```

Each page also has these buttons:

| Button | Does |
|---|---|
| **Copy page** | Copies the page as Markdown. |
| **Markdown** | Opens the Markdown version. |
| **Open in ChatGPT**, **Open in Claude** | Starts a conversation that reads the page. |

## llms.txt

[known.info/llms.txt](https://known.info/llms.txt) lists every page with its Markdown address and a summary, following the [llms.txt](https://llmstxt.org) format. [known.info/llms-full.txt](https://known.info/llms-full.txt) contains every page in a single file.

## Set up a coding agent

To help a coding agent use Known in a project, add a line to its instructions file, such as `CLAUDE.md` or `AGENTS.md`:

```
